Compare and Contrast

We talk about the concepts of same and different all the time, but don’t use the terms, “compare” and “contrast” as frequently.  Today, our kindergarten kiddos practiced comparing and contrasting by looking at characters in our Book of the Week, “Friends”.  They compared by finding what was the same and contrasted by finding what was different.  I challenged them to compare and contrast their family members tonight at home!
